Does Voxlode replace YouTube Studio

No. Voxlode is meant to sit on top of Studio and help you make faster cross-video decisions. YouTube Studio tells you what happened. Voxlode helps you decide what to do next.

How much history do I need

Enough recent uploads to compare formats and outcomes. You do not need a complete back-catalog import before the product becomes useful. Even 10 labelled videos can surface meaningful format patterns and produce a useful first recommendation.

Why does the wrong channel appear after login

This usually means the Google account had access to multiple channels or brand accounts. Disconnect the current connection, reconnect with the correct Google account, and confirm the channel name matches before syncing.

Can I connect multiple YouTube channels

Yes. You can connect multiple channels and switch between them from the sidebar or Settings > Connected Channels. Each channel has its own analytics, labels, insights, and recommendations — nothing is shared between channels.

Can I use Voxlode for monetisation decisions

Yes. The metrics, playbooks, and AI tools are designed to connect performance with revenue and CTA outcomes, not just audience attention. RPM, revenue per video, and CTA tracking are all built into the product.

How long does the first sync take

For smaller channels, under a minute. For larger channels with hundreds of videos, the first sync runs as a queued background job and may take up to a couple of minutes. You will receive a notification when it completes, and the dashboard is usable while it runs.

Why do recommendations change after syncing

Recommendations are generated from your current analytics window. When new data arrives, Voxlode may find stronger signals, retire older ones, or surface a different opportunity. Monthly auto-regeneration keeps recommendations current. You can also trigger a fresh set manually at any time — no credits required.

Why do AI reports mention missing data

Reports flag missing data when more context would improve the output. A channel with unlabelled videos, a short history window, or mixed content types may produce a report that notes what it could not confirm. Missing data is a confidence signal — the report is telling you what it had to guess versus what it knew.

How should I spend AI credits

Use credits on the decision with the most leverage. If the bottleneck is what to make next, use Prioritise or Brainstorm. If the bottleneck is understanding your channel formula, use Channel DNA. If you need an execution plan, use Execute. Brainstorm and Outline are free-tier tools — run one first to confirm the output quality before spending credits on heavier tools.

Can I share reports with people who don’t have a Voxlode account

Yes. Any AI-generated report can be shared as a public link or a password-protected link. The recipient does not need a Voxlode account to view it. See Sharing Reports in the Product Guide for details.

Why does Outline not write a full script

Voxlode generates recording outlines — hook, structure, timing notes, examples, visuals, and a production checklist — not word-for-word scripts. The best videos need to sound like you. AI can organise the structure and surface the right angles, but the final wording is almost always better when written in your own voice.

What permissions does Voxlode ask for on YouTube

Voxlode requests read-only access to your channel data and analytics. It does not request permission to upload videos, post comments, or change channel settings. The connection can be removed at any time from Settings > Connected Channels.

What happens if I disconnect a YouTube channel

Disconnecting a channel removes the live connection and stops future syncs, but preserves your historical analytics, labels, tags, insights, and AI generation history. If you reconnect the same channel later, the data is still there.

Why are my Shorts showing different numbers than Studio

Shorts and long-form videos have different impression surfaces, audience behaviour patterns, and monetisation rates. Voxlode imports the same underlying data as Studio, but filtering by content type on the Overview and Videos screens will separate Shorts from long-form so the averages do not mix.

What is the demo

The demo at voxlode.app/demo is a fully interactive version of the dashboard loaded with realistic sample data. No login required. Every page is functional, including recommendations and growth tool previews. It is a good way to explore the product before connecting your own channel.
